Se ben ricordate, durante l’evento del primo Settembre ove il colosso di Cupertino ha presentato ufficialmente il nuovo iPhone 5S e il nuovo iPhone 5C, lo stesso Tim Cook annunciò che a partire dal 1 Settembre tutti coloro che avrebbero acquistato un nuovo dispositivo Apple o semplicemente attivato, avrebbero ricevuto in maniera del tutto gratuita la utilissima suite iWork per iOS.
Tantissimi utenti hanno fra inteso la frase del CEO Apple tanto da essere convinti che iWork fosse gratuito per chiunque abbia attivato il dispositivo dopo il primo settembre senza considerare che per nuova attivazione Apple si riferisse a un nuovo terminale o una nuova attivazione per chi invece abbia sostituito il proprio dispositivo in un Apple Store.
A tal proposito però e a scanso di equivoci, Apple ha deciso di rimborsare tutti gli utenti che avrebbero acquistato i prodotti iWork con la sola convinzione di riceverli in maniera gratuita.

On September 10, 2013, Apple announced that iPhoto, iMovie, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers iOS apps are now available as a free download on the App Store for qualifying iOS 7 compatible devices activated on or after September 1, 2013.
